This application is read by the practitioners already accepted. When you are accepted, you read the ones that follow. That is the mechanism, and it is why the questions below are the questions they are.
The application panel reads for transparent specificity. A plain sentence about a real difficulty and the true state of your project carry your values to us more than a polished boilerplate.
Describe your project as it actually stands today. Half-formed is the ideal condition here, and the application panel reads for work thriving to be seen and heard across twelve weeks.
What this application asks for. Your writing, and about twenty-five minutes. Everything else stays optional. Two sections are sealed from the panel, and each one says so where it sits.
Before you begin
Read the El Niño briefing. The 2027 season is forecast to land inside a very strong event, and the conditions are part of what you are deciding about.

People keep their jobs at Mars every year. Tell us the hours and we build the rhythm around them.
Cohort calls run every two weeks from September. Every project goes on the table for a full hour, three times before anyone packs. Can you hold that?
What you bring to a camp that has to build itself.
Skills count as a qualification here. A camp of eight to twelve in an off-grid winter runs on what walks in.
The kitchen is communal, plant-forward, and cooks dinner five nights so that lunch is leftovers. Tell us how you eat.
Sealed from the panel.
Money and access sit with the camp lead alone. Your answers below stay with him, and acceptance is decided on your project.
Incubator Camp is the annual convening of the Neuroarts Fund for Innerversal Health Practitioners. The Fund intends to cover travel and participation costs for practitioners who need the support, so that every geography and every financial position stays welcome here. Answer freely.
Off-grid desert, hauled water, cold nights, uneven ground, and the nearest clinic a drive away. Tell us what you need so we can plan the room, the pod placement and the vehicle rota around it. This is a planning question, and the camp lead is the only reader.
Two last things.
Nominations go to the panel. A nomination works as an introduction, and we reach out gently.
Assemble and send.
Press send and your application travels straight to the camp. A confirmation arrives in your inbox within a minute, carrying your reference number.
On a slow connection, or if the send meets any trouble, the other two buttons assemble your answers as plain text so you can copy them into an email to connect@thealienschool.com. Either route arrives in the same place.
Your answers save automatically in this browser as you write, including section 06, so closing the tab keeps your draft. Nothing leaves this device until you press send, and you can clear your saved draft at any time.
What happens next. A person reads it within ten days and writes back. If the panel wants to go further you will have a conversation with the camp lead, and then with a practitioner already seated. Payment begins once a seat is offered and accepted.
